Everybody in life want to do
something that makes him/her to be remembered always even got free from this
world. But how can be same achieved? Never come to know.
There was a guy named to be REX, worked
so hard always that he reached to the heights of success. He always had
tendency to try not to leave any work in pending. And was a good manager to
manage between office and Family.
This was another wake up morning
to him like other days. He stands up on his foot, wears his slippers and went
to balcony, feeling the smell of morning stretching his hands wide enough to
make him feel the best of best always. For him it’s not just another day, it
was always a new day to start and end with feeling of happiness within him with
satisfaction of thanks giving to god for a wonderful day. Then he got fresh’s
up and spend few mints with his family.
His family was wonderful and just
perfect to enjoy every moment with complete feeling of happiness within them
with him. He got ready and left for his routine office. Reaching office… Hi Elena, looking gorgeous as always, his secretory—Elena-- smiled
very sweetly and replied thanks dear, you too looking handsome. And he went
inside his chamber. There he looked his table and felt the feeling of success
in his whole life and the hard-work he did all his life to achieve the status.
He has started his career 5 years
ago, and with his hardworking style with not leaving any work pending attitude,
today he achieved to be chairman of his own ownership company. He is very well
and his staffs are always happy with tech and management skills. And in
continuation much help to everyone at personal level too.
It was 12 Noon, he got a call, he
looked the no. appearing on his cell-phone, find up his doctor calling him, he
picked the call smilingly and asked doctor…Hi Doc, how are you, how’s going on.
Doctor from other side replied.. I am fine, doing great. But his voice was
trembling, trying to keep the tone match with normal as always with REX. But
Rex identified that shuddering in hid DOC voice and said I think something is
not good Doc, is everything is alright. Doctor remains quiet for some time and
then said… I don’t know how to start or say to you. REX- common doc, tell me
now… it can’t be worse than working 20 hrs. Daily in my struggling years and
passed up the smile with enthusiasm. Doctor from other side replied. Your
reports came to me for routine check-up you came to me yesterday, it intimated you
are having last 12 hrs. Of your life to survive. REX-You must be
joking.. DOC—NO I am serious…REX—hold on Doc, and he went to a Silence, after
few mints he replied, request you please keep this with you only DOC and thanks
for information you shared to me and drop the call.
He looked at hanging watch in
front of him, it was exhibiting 12:20 PM, he just keep looking the watch for
next few mints and the started working as of other normal day. He finished up
his work today at 4:30 PM, scheduling two mails in his mail system to dispatch
Night 12:00 AM. And called his secretary
to send an invitation to few of nearby colleagues and friend to have a get
together in evening at his Home. He informed same to his family member’s to
keep things ready accordingly. It was normal to his family members as he keep
doing the same generally. Then he left office at 5:00 PM as usual of normal days.
He reached to a flower shop,
picked up a bookie of red rose from there with wonderful fragrance and asked to
pack in a box then he went to Medical store to pick medicine for his mother and
father. Then he went to a shop, and bought little stuff for his other family
members. And at last he went to a photographer shop. He asked photographer to
pick his picture of life time that after him also whenever people look his
Photograph he should look like living always. Photographer smiled and said you
are quiet handsome guy, I will have the best one for you. He handover his snap
in a packed box and REX went back to his home. He was feeling much tired, he
looked at watch it was 6:30 PM. He smiled and set down to take rest for few mints.
His sister in law came to him, are you ok… yeah yeah.. I am, just got little
hectic schedule whole day. What about party arrangements. Is it done… she
replied, Yeah it’s done.. REX—Good…Let’s Rock n Roll.
He Got ready with his most favorite wear.. TUXEDO, Complete black with RED ribbon on waist and White
shirt with up-collar lift, making him look like ready to marry someone he loves
much. Guest start coming, everyone was commenting over his wonderful look… he
looks great!!!. Among all guests, Doctor was also there. Hi Doc, what a
wonderful day this is, have belly filled with oldest wine and enjoy. The red
wine was looking like blood of REX to DOC, he wants to do anything for him to
keep him alive but he was not more than GOD, he always believed in. REX said
again DOC please smiles, for me not for all here. DOC understood him the way he
was dealing with other people and his family members, he dint told about his
condition to anyone. Doctor requested him, today can I live here only with you.
REX replied simply OK.
It’s 11-O-Clock, everybody in
party getting tired, started leaving and to everybody REX replying thanks for
coming to my celebrations of life time and in reply to him everybody was
smiling and leaving the party place. While everybody was leaving, he asked to
stay his best friend and business partner and gift him a box with condition you
will open it after you got my mail to open the same.
Again REX looks to the Watch on
the wall it was 11:15 PM, last 45 mints left with him. He called every member
of his family to see last time. Everybody assembled and starts chatting with
him, he gifted everybody something and at last a box with promise from everyone
open it after 12:30 Today midnight. Doctor was sitting beside him, looking to
him with surprise how could he be so calm knowing his death timing approx. He
looked toward the Doctor and hand over him a letter with promise to open at
12:30 AM midnight only.
Again he looked towards the watch
on wall, it was pretending 11:45 PM, he start feeling much uncomfortable, asked
his niece to get a glass of water and his laptop, and murmured to doctor, please hold on me for some time more. Time was
running like hell, his niece get the water and laptop. With trembling hands he
drinks the water and switch on his laptop and fired the two last mails he
drafted earlier in evening.
His condition becomes worst and
everybody nearby him was crying and shouting---Doctor please look, what
happened to him, Doctor just remained standing quietly looking him dying. And
he died with last smile on his lips.
First mail comes to DOCTOR,
Hi DOC,
Thanks for pre-information to
make my even last day the most wonderful. I have enjoyed lots of things always
wanted and even wonderful death with my family member and best friends around me.
DOC asked DAD please open the
box….
REX’s DAD, open the box, in that
they found his lifetime most wonderful Photograph, like he said to
photographer, looks much alive than ever with a letter. In Letter
DAD and my dear Family member,
never think I am parted from you people, whenever you look this photograph,
give me the same smile you use to give every morning to me. And his DAD looks
at picture with same smile along tears in eyes, knowing never will find him
again.
Second mail comes to his best Friend,
Hi Dear,
Well when you are reading this I
am not alive any more, but don’t be dis-hearted. You did much of things for me
in my life as best friend, Just open the box for me, as a last favor to me.
There were two envelopes with RED
flower bookie, 1st envelop:
From Today onwards you are the
owner and chairman of this company with profit sharing with my family
conditions attached in annexure. Also Elena has been appointed as board member
for her services to me.
2nd Envelop:
Congratulations with RED flower,
I am not there to hug you for your new achievement, but I know you will be more
successful guy then me. Just take care and keep smiling.
Reading the same his friend just
left sitting beside his dead body, starring REX, that he will stand up just now
and hug him.
BUT REX HAD BECOME
SILENT FOR EVER, LEAVING SMILES FOR OTHERS…THATS WHAT LAST 12 HOURS OF LIFE ,
MORE THAN EVERY MOMENT OF LIFE TO ENJOY. SO LIFE IS ALWAYS TO ENJOY, NEVER GIVE
WITH ANY UP’s & DOWN’s OF LIFE, AS IN EVERY ACT OF YOU, AND YOU ARE PUTTING
SMILE ON SOMEONE FACE EITHER UNSWERVINGLY OR TORTUOUSLY.
